On Thursday, April 18th, we are please to have current Chief of the Delaware River and Bay Authority Police, Colonel Arroyo.
Colonel Arroyo will discuss the 4 phases of emergency management, with an emphasis placed on “preparedness". The main topic will deal with effective continuity of operations/continuity of government (COOP/COG) planning.
Arroyo will discuss lessons he has learned from 45 years in law enforcement, to include his experience as the Commanding Officer of the New Jersey Emergency Management Section. His experiences include, the September 11th terrorist attack, several major hurricanes, major fires etc. How can your organization effectively prepare for catastrophic events.
