Dan Roddy, CPP- Chairman
Dan is Regional Manager for Sun States Security, LLC responsible for DE, NJ, MD, and PA. Prior to joining Sun States, Dan was Regional Manager for Day & Zimmermann Security Services, managing a client base which included several Fortune 500 clients. An active member of ASIS International since 2002, Dan became Board Certified in Security Management after successfully meeting the requirements of the Certified Protection Professional (CPP) designation. In addition to his experience in security management, Dan has been a champion of safety programs throughout his career. Dan is a graduate of Wilmington University with a BS in Business Management.

Eric Taylor, CPP- Vice Chairman
Eric Taylor is the founder of Prevent Alarm Company, now Prevent Security and Technology. Eric founded Prevent in 1999 as a part time business with hopes someday making it into a full time career. In 2004 he was a able to pursue the business full time, since then Eric has grown the business significantly, landing several large Fortune 500 clients, from industries such as Pharmaceutical, Retail, Casinos, Chemical and Banking.

Eric’s goal is to turn Prevent into a region powerhouse in the security integration field and to be recognized as a leader in the physical security industry. Eric is also a member of the NFPA, ASIS, Electronic Security Association.

James Grimes - Treasurer
Jim is the Project Manager for G4S for the Sallie Mae National Contract. Jim is a retired Lieutenant with the University of Delaware Police Department.

Dean Vietri, CPP - Past Chapter Chairman (2012)

Dean is employed with Sallie Mae, Inc. in the Corporate Security / Asset Protection Division as the Operations Manager. Dean has also served as a Special Investigations Manager in the Insurance industry as well as a Portfolio Manager with Allied Barton Security Services. He previously served as the Director of Safety for the Wilmington Downtown Business Improvement District for eight years. Dean retired from the Wilmington Police Department at the rank of Lieutenant after a 23 year career where he last served as Commanding Officer of the Wilmington Police Academy. Dean has been a member of ASIS since 2006. Dean earned his CPP designation in 2007.
