Dean Vietri, CPP - Chairman

Dean is employed with Sallie Mae, Inc. in the Corporate Security / Asset Protection Division as the Supervisor of the Security Operations Center and corporate security investigator. Dean has also served as a Special Investigations Manager in the Insurance industry as well as a Portfolio Manager with Allied Barton Security Services. He also served as the Director of Safety for the Wilmington Downtown Business Improvement District for eight years. Dean retired from the Wilmington Police Department at the rank of Lieutenant after a 23 year career where he last served as Commanding Officer of the Wilmington Police Academy. Dean has been a member of ASIS since 2006. Dean earned his CPP designation in 2007.

Dan Roddy, CPP- Treasurer
Dan is Regional Manager for Sunstates Security, LLC responsible for DE, NJ, MD, and PA. Prior to joining Sunstates, Dan was Regional Manager for Day & Zimmermann Security Services, managing a client base which included several Fortune 500 clients. An active member of ASIS International since 2002, Dan became Board Certified in Security Management after successfully meeting the requirements of the Certified Protection Professional (CPP) designation. In addition to his experience in security management, Dan has been a champion of safety programs throughout his career. Dan is a graduate of Wilmington University with a BS in Business Management.

Eric Taylor is the President of Prevent Security.

Judy Dixon - Past Chapter Chairperson (2010 - 2011)

Judy began her security career with Securitas Security Services in 2007. Since then Judy has enrolled in the Securitas Security Management program. She has met with many high level security directors and - in conjunction with the Securitas operations team - come up with value driven security solutions. In 2008, Judy joined the Delaware ASIS Chapter volunteering as the Chapter secretary. Judy particularly enjoys the Private Security Appreciation (Oxley) awards where officers from Securitas and others receive recognition for a job well done.

Presley Nelson - Past Chapter Chairman (2008 -2009)

Presley Nelson is the Personal & Property Protection Manager for DuPont Hospitality. The Hotel DuPont, the DuPont Theatre and the DuPont Country Club are the three properties which are included in the site. Based in Wilmington, Delaware, Presley has more than 25 years as an experienced security professional. While at DuPont, he has held positions as Security Coordinator, Site Security Resource, Safety Manager and Security Director. He has been the Chairman of the Delaware Chapter of ASIS since June of 08 to present. He holds a BS degree in Business Administration from Widener University and a MA in Business and Organizational Security Management from Webster University. He is Co- Chairman for the United Way Campaign for DuPont Hospitality. Presley continues to serve as a valuable member of the Executive Committee.
